Militants kill soldier near LoC in Kashmir

A soldier was killed on Wednesday in a gunfight with militants near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.

Defence Ministry sources said the incident took place near the Choken Post in Keran sector. "The operation against the militants is still going on," an official said.
