A seven-year-old girl was raped by her 55-year-old neighbour in the national capital, police said Saturday.
The incident took place in central Delhi's Anand Parbat area Thursday.
"Motilal, a part-time labour, lured the girl to his house when she was playing outside her home and raped her. The girl came back to her home and informed her parents about the incident," said a police officer.
Following a complaint registered by the girl's parents, police arrested Motilal from his home Friday.
