La Paz, Sep 28 (IANS/EFE) A mob in Bolivia set ablaze two men accused of trying to steal a motorcycle and attacking its owner.
The men, police said, were burnt to death near the central Bolivian town of Entre Rios.
According to Colonel Antonio Arias, the regional police commander, the lynchings occurred Wednesday in the central province of Cochabamba.
The police chief said the lynchings were regrettable and that a silence exists among the local publice over the incident.
The rural part of Cochabamba is a zone where outraged townspeople have killed a number of accused criminals in the name of "indigenous and community justice".
