Pakistan congratulates India for becoming SCO member

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday congratulated India for becoming a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

"I congratulate India for joining the SCO family," he said in his speech at the SCO Summit here.

Both India and Pakistan were on Friday granted full membership of the Eurasian bloc which also includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
