Actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family members bid farewell to Ganpati on Thursday. Despite heavy rain here, the whole Kapoor family enthusiastically bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.
The Kapoor family has maintained the tradition of celebrating Ganpati Utsav for decades.
Randhir, Rishi, Ranbir and Rajiv Kapoor took to the streets of Mumbai to celebrate the festival. The procession, which began from RK Studios in Chembur, went on to Shivaji Park where the idol of Lord Ganesha was immersed.
Ranbir, along with other members of his family, covered a distance of about 4 km despite heavy rain.
Rishi Kapoor also tweeted: "Ranbir seems to be playing pranks behind my back. Rain was the spoilsport but so what? Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!"
Apparently, the rain and the crowd of fans turned out to be a little chaotic following which Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor lost their cool with the media.
Reportedly, Randhir and Rishi Kapoor misbehaved with a few reporters during the procession.
