Russell Brand buys mansion in Hollywood Hills

Actor Russell Brand has shelled out $2.224 million for a property in Hollywood Hills West here.

The property boasts high ceilings, white washed walls, five huge bedrooms with five bathrooms, reports contactmusic.com.

The 38-year-old can also enjoy an amazing view of the Los Angeles skyline from the balcony which also has space to cater for outdoor dining.

According to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, the property which spans across 4,800 square feet of interior space, was built in 1926 and designed by architect Roy Selden Price.

This is the first property Brand has purchased since his split from his wife, singer Katy Perry in December 2011.
