Russia defeat Italy in charity football tie

FIFA 2018 World Cup hosts Russia defeated Italy 8-3 in a six-a-side charity football match here on Saturday.

For Italy -- who failed to book a spot in the upcoming World Cup -- Roma great Francesco Totti scored a brace.

Totti scored one of the goals through a precise curling free-kick from just outside the box.

Along side Totti, the Italian side consisted -- Marco Delvecchio, Angelo Di Livio, Marco Cassetti, Diego Fuser and current Italy caretaker manager Gigi Di Biagio.
