Seedorf to coach AC Milan till June 2016

AC Milan confirmed that they have appointed Clarence Seedorf as head coach on contract until June 2016.

"Milan communicate that Clarence Seedorf is the new coach of the first team squad and has signed a contract until June 30, 2016," Milan said in a short statement Thursday, reports Xinhua.

The 37-year-old Dutchman, who arrived Wednesday from Brazil, then went to meet the players and took charge of the training session.

Seedorf vowed to take Milan back to the top of the world despite the difficult situation they are facing.

"I am happy to be here, even if unfortunately Milan are not in the best moment," Seedorf said.

 

"I will do everything to take Milan back to the top of the world. I feel at home here and hope to inspire the team with my great enthusiasm. I can't wait to get started. We want to turn the situation around straight away to make the fans happy," he said.
