Sharon Osbourne confirms Cheryl, Liam Payne's 'happy' news

TV host Sharon Osbourne has confirmed Cheryl and Liam Payne are expecting a baby as she sent a congratulatory message to the former "X Factor" judge.

Sharon, who is a grandmother of two, sent her love to Cheryl, who is reportedly due to deliver the baby in March 2017.

"I haven't spoken to Cheryl, I know her but she isn't a mate. I wish her well, it's fantastic. Yes, an X Factor baby. A baby is always amazing news," Sharon told dailymail.co.uk.

The 64-year-old, who is working with children's charity NSPCC on their Little Stars campaign, also spoke about the Christmas fervour and how the festival is a very special time at the Osbourne household.

 

"Christmas isn't Christmas without children around. Now we've got the two young children it's very special. It really makes it. It's one of the gifts of growing old, having grandchildren," she said.
