Shuttler Gurusaidutt rises to World No.23

Indian men's singles shuttler R.M.V. Gurusaidutt jumped two places to No.23 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released Thursday.

Mumbai's Ajay Jayaram leaped three places to No.25 while India's best ranked men's shuttler Parupalli Kashyap retained his No.10 position.

Meanwhile, in the women's singles, London Olympics medallist Saina Nehwal kept her second place while Hyderabadi P.V. Sindhu is only a step short of top-10 at 11.
