Sonia, Rahul to visit Jammu and Kashmir

CM Omar Abdullah will brief the Congress president about relief and rescue measures

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi will arrive here Monday to visit flood affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Srinagar Monday," Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad told reporters.

Accompanied by Azad and Congress leader Ambika Sonia, the party president will begin her two-day visit from Anantnag district where she will meet flood victims. Sonia and Rahul will visit Jammu region Tuesday.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will brief the Congress president about relief and rescue measures.
