Tributes paid to Indira Gandhi on death anniversary

President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son and party vice president Rahul Gandhi Thursday paid tributes to late prime minister Indira Gandhi on her 29th death anniversary.

The dignitaries paid floral tributes to Indira Gandhi at Shakti Sthal, where she was cremated. Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her security guards in 1984.

Tributes were also paid to her at the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee here.
