Two persons in Bihar's Gaya district have been arrested for molesting a minor girl, after two videos of separate incidents of molestation went viral in the social media, police said on Monday.
Additional Director General of Police S.K. Singhal said an FIR has been registered against six people and two persons have been arrested in one case, while the culprits are being identified in the second case.
First video shows the girl being hounded and molested by youths in broad daylight. The incident took place last week, the police officer said.
Gaya Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra said all accused in the first incident have been identified and a hunt is on to arrest them.
Singhal said the police will ensure that speedy trial is conducted in the cases.
Last month, eight persons in Bihar's Jehanabad district were arrested for molesting a minor girl, the video of which had gone viral in social sites.
The video, captured by a local, showed the girl being hounded and molested by a group of youths.
