Two men involved in the murder of realtor Moti Goel have been arrested, police said on Tuesday.
The men arrested by GB Nagar police were identified as Amit of Sunpura under Ecotech III area of Greater Noida and Rahul of Prem Nagar in Dankaur.
Police seized a .30 bore pistol, the murder weapon, from Amit along with a cartridge, and a .32 bore pistol with two cartridges from Rahul. A motorcycle used in the crime was also seized.
Realtor Goel was shot dead around 5 p.m. on April 16 in Hindon Vihar locality under Sector-49 police station of Noida.
Goel was facing about a dozen criminal cases and had even been jailed for land deals which went wrong, police said. Goel had remained lodged in Dasna jail for over a decade. He was out on bail when he was killed.

Police said following a tip-off that the suspects wanted in the killing will pass through Sarfabad to receive money from Harendra Pradhan, who had given them the contract to kill Goel, police intensified checking in the area.
Around 11 pm on Monday, police hailed two persons riding a motorcycle to stop but they fired at them and fled. They were chased and arrested at Barola.
The accused confessed to their crime and allegedly revealed that Harendra Pradhan of Kansari village in GB Nagar area had offered Rs 5 lakh each to them to kill Goel. He also provided them with pistols and promised to give the money once the task was completed.
Police claimed that the two suspects said Harendra Pradhan identified Goel on the day they murdered him by firing six shots at him.
"We will arrest Harendra Pradhan soon," said police officer Prabhat Dixit, who is attached to the GB Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police.
