Vadivelu's 'Thenaliraman' to release April 18

After being banned from acting for campaigning against DMDK party in 2011 during the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, comedian Vadivelu is making a comeback with Tamil period-comedy "Thenaliraman", slated for an April release.

"Our film is releasing on April 18. It was previously scheduled to release April 11, but it has been pushed to a week later," the film's director Yuvaraj Dhayalan told IANS

One of the most popular comedians in Tamil filmdom, Vadivelu will be seen essaying a double role in "Thenaliraman".

The film also features Meenakshi Dixit, Manobala, Radha Ravi, G.M Kumar, Bala Singh, Mansoor Ali Khan and Devadarshini in important roles.
