Actor Vijay's 58th Tamil film, a fantasy drama, has been titled "Puli". The title was announced Sunday.
"It gives us immense pleasure and happiness to announce the title as 'Puli' for our most prestigious project with Vijay and director Chimbudevan," said a statement from the film's production house SKT Studios.
The movie will see Sridevi playing Hansika Motwani's mother.
It also stars Shruti Haasan and Sudeep. The film is jointly being produced by Shibu Thameens and PT. Selvakumar.
Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the tunes for "Puli".
