VVIP chopper case: Court allows former IAF chief Tyagi to travel abroad

A court here on Monday allowed former S.P. and his cousin to travel abroad next year.

allowed Tyagi's plea to go to the US and in the month of March and April next year.

The court also allowed to travel to in January 2019.

The (ED) and the CBI had filed charge sheets in bribery cases in courts.

In its charge sheet, the CBI had named former S.P. Tyagi, his cousin Tyagi alias Julie, the then IAF and as the four Indians involved in the Rs 3,600-crore VVIP chopper deal case.

Others named in the charge sheet included Giuseppe Orsi, former chief of Italian defence and Finmeccanica, and Bruno Spagnolini, former of AgustaWestland, apart from middlemen and
