At a recent press conference, Corporate Affairs Ministe P C Gupta was asked when the restated accounts of Satyam would be ready. Gupta said this would happen soon. The journalist asked what “soon” meant. A piqued Gupta said soon didn’t mean two years, and if the reporter didn’t know the meaning of the word ‘soon’, he (Gupta) would consult the dictionary and tell him the exact meaning.
