At a session on fostering public sector leadership at the recently concluded WEF-India Summit, ONGC chairman R S Sharma took a dig at Parliamentary committees. There are 20 Parliamentary Committees, he said, and he has sometimes had to cancel company board meetings to attend committee meetings. Significantly, Arun Jaitly, an MP, was present on the panel. Equally significantly, Sharma is due to retire soon.
