An MNS billboard outside a suburban station in Mumbai features text in English and Hindi, but no Marathi

Business Standard New Delhi

A billboard outside a suburban railway station in Mumbai appears to overtly contradict the aggressively parochial ideology of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). It features the party MLA’s photograph and the text is in English and Hindi — Marathi is nowhere to be seen. Though the board was put up by a support organisation and not the party, it leaves onlookers wondering about the drift in MNS’ Marathi ideology.
