Swamy's self-goal

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy recently tweeted an article, "UPA and Media Cronyism", published by a portal, jansatyagrah.in. Incidentally, the photograph that came with the article had Swamy's daughter, journalist Suhasini Haidar, among others posing inside former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's aircraft.

Realising his folly, Swamy tweeted again: "I re-tweeted a tweet of media cronies. Suhasini photo is in that! She is nobody's crony. I brought her up to be fearless. So pl amend photo." The re-tweet came too late - by then, the Twitterati had had a field day poking fun at Swamy"s "double standards".
