Wallets in news

Mobile wallets are the talk of the town. While young people were the early adopters, the government is pushing them hard as it works towards a cashless economy by educating consumers and offering many sops. Sticker ads of a popular wallet brand can be seen on the covers of laptops used by news anchors on state-owned Doordarshan as they read out the day's news. Such communication was limited to private channels even until a month back.
