Mehbooba, Governor discuss ways to restore peace in Valley

The meeting lasted for nearly an hour, said the spokesman

A month later, no sign of peace in Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday called on Governor NN Vohra and discussed the measures taken by the government for restoration of peace in the state.

"Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti discussed various important matters related to restoration of peace and normalcy in the state," an official spokesman said after the meeting at Raj Bhawan here.

The two also discussed measures to provide the "best" opportunities to the youth of the state through rapid and all-round development, he added.

The meeting lasted for nearly an hour, said the spokesman.
