1 killed in road mishap in UP

One person was today killed and 16 others injured when a roadways bus collided with a truck in Hathras Gate area, police said here.

Conductor of the bus Arun Kumar (35) was killed when the vehicle collided with the stationary truck near Barse village in the wee hours this morning, they said.

Police said that 16 passengers were injured in the incident and were admitted to a hospital, from where four were referred to Aligarh Medical College in a serious condition.
