Fourteen people were today sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in connection with the murder of three persons in 1998.
A clash had taken place in April 1998 in Jiyanpur area here in which Rajdev Yadav, his son Ramchander Yadav and another person named Chandradheer Patel were killed, prosecution counsel Rajendra Kumar Srivastava said.
Cross FIRs were lodged in this connection, he said.
On hearing the arguments from both the sides, Additional District Judge L K Rathi held the accused guilty of murdering the Yadavs and Patel and also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on each of them.
