14-year-old boy dies in wall collapse due to rain

A 14-year old boy was killed today near Vadipatti in the district when the roof of his house collapsed following heavy rains, police said.

Three others, including his mother and his siblings, were injured in the accident at Aiyankottai early this morning. All the four were trapped under the debris, they said.

Fire service personnel rushed to the spot to rescue them.

The injured were admitted to the hospital, police said.
