At least 17 passengers were injured when a private bus overturned near Bahadurgarh village on the Sirhind-Chandigarh road in the district today, police said.
The bus was on its way from Ahmadgarh to Morinda town in Fatehgarh Sahib district and when it reached near Bahadurgarh it overturned after one of its tyres burst.
The injured included the bus driver and its conductor, police said, adding that all the injured were treated at the local civil hospital.
