18 injured in bus fire in China

At least 18 people were injured when a moving bus caught fire in China's southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The bus caught fire when it was running at a crossroad in Liuzhou City last evening. The flames were put out half an hour later.

All the injured were admitted to a hospital.

So far 12 remained in hospital and six were discharged.

About 40 to 50 passengers were in the bus when it caught fire, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
