2 arrested, 1,506 boxes of illicit liquor seized in Kurukshetra

Police has seized 1,506 boxes of illicit liquor from a godown at Samsipur village in district and arrested two persons in this connection.

Following a tip-off, the godown was raided and 132 boxes of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, 1,235 boxes of country-made liquor and 96 boxes of beer were seized, a of the said here.

The two arrested have been identified as Balraj and Deepak, while the liquor contractor, a key accused in the case is absconding, he said.
