2 arrested for bovine smuggling in J-K's Rajouri

The police today arrested two persons on charges of bovine smuggling from the Siot-Solki and Sunderbani areas in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, an official said.

Seven bovines were rescued from a pickup vehicle during a checking at Siot-Solki. The driver Aftaar Ahmed was arrested and a case was registered, he said

Another vehicle was intercepted at Sunderbani and Mohd Aslam was arrested. Some bovines were rescued, the official said.
