2 boys drown in pond

Two boys drowned while taking

bath in a pond near Vadamadurai in this district.

Ramachandran (13) and his brother Ramkumar (9) were taking bath in the pond at Vellaipommbanayakanpatti when they got trapped in the slush, police said.

The pond had been desilted recently to hold more water.
