2 dead, 1 injured as vehicle skids off highway in J&K

Two people died and one was injured when their auto-rickshaw skidded off the Jammu-Srinagar national highway and rolled down into a gorge in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place at Tringla belt of Ramban on Tuesday night, police said today. They were rushed to GMC hospital in Jammu where two succumbed to injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Rajkumar (32), the driver of the auto-rickshaw, and Kartar Chand (19).
