2 engineering students among 3 killed in mishap

Three persons, including two engineering students, were killed in a collision involving two motorcycles near here, police said today.

Lakshmanan and Raghavendra, students of an engineering college at Nattam, and Nondichamy died in the mishap that occurred near Kottampatti, 40 km from here, around midnight yesterday.

The students were retuning home after attending the college day function while the other victim was coming in the direction.

Nondichamy died on the spot, while the two students died on the way to the government hospital.
