Two persons were killed and over two dozen injured after a bus carrying 60 persons overturned on Aonla-Rampur road here, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when the bus driver tried to overtake a tractor and lost control of his vehicle after which it overturned, killing Izhar (22) and Wasim (25) on the spot, they said.
All the passengers of the bus were on their way back after attending a marriage function, police said.
The injured were rushed to the hospital, they said, adding the condition of six persons was stated to be serious.
