2 NDFB(S) terrorists surrender

Two NDFB(S) terrorists today surrendered and deposited a cache of arms, police said.

The duo, identified as Antony Basumatary (27) and Puren Musahary (25), laid down their arms at the Chirang SP office.

The NDFB(S) militants also deposited one 9 mm pistol, one 7.65 mm pistol and six rounds of ammunition.

Of the two, Basumatary was trained in Bangladesh, police said.
