2 sentenced to life term for murder

Two persons were today sentenced to life imprisonment and fined a penalty of Rs 20,000 each by a local court here in a murder case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Jagdish Prasad held the two accused Jhagdu Sonker and Ramakant guilty in the August 2005 murder of one Rajendra Rai over panchayat election rivalry in Munda village in Sidhari area, prosecution.
