3 arrested for ruckus in police station

Police have arrested three local Samajwadi Party workers for allegedly creating ruckus and tearing police records inside Chhatta Kotwali here.

The case was registered against five persons for the alleged ruckus and two of the accused are absconding, police said.

"The matter is being probed," PRO police said.

"On refusal by Head Moharrir Radhey Shyam to hand over an unclaimed car ceased in Kotawali, five activists of Samajwadi Party including Sahun, district president of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha not only tried to pressurise police, but even used filthy language and tore off important register related to police record," according to the FIR filed.
