More than a month-and-a-half after they turned away a woman who wanted to lodge a rape complaint, the police here have registered an FIR against three men on a direction from a court.
The police yesterday lodged an FIR against Bhup Singh, a resident of Saray village, and two others for allegedly raping the woman.
The woman, in her complaint, had alleged that she was raped by Singh and two others on April 16 when she was alone at her house, the police said today.

She also alleged that she had earlier approached the local police and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), but they had not paid heed to her, prompting her to move the court.
No one was arrested in connection with the case yet, the police said.
