Three persons have been booked for allegedly hurting sentiments of a community by putting up incorrect information about a religion on the internet, police said today.
According to the complaint lodged by Kulwant Singh, a member of a religious group, the accused insulted the religion and religious beliefs by putting up wrong information on the internet, SSP Surjeet Singh Grewal said.
Grewal said officials have been directed to find the culprits immediately so that proper action could be taken against them.
