3 children drown in pit

Three children drowned in a pit

filled with rainwater in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district, police said today.

Gautam Chordia (16), Laxman (12) and Himanshu (14) slipped and drowned in the pit at Rolheda village yesterday, they said.

The bodies have been handed to the family members after postmortem, the police added.
