Three persons, allegedly involved

in several murder cases including that of a father-son duo in the premises of Lady Hardinge Medical College and carrying a joint reward of Rs 1.5 lakh, were arrested, police said today.

The arrested have been identified as Vijay Lal alias Notty (32), Manoj alias Kalua (38) and Ashok alias Kala (42).

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the trio from Gopalpur red light signal on Outer ring road yesterday, DCP (Special Cell) Sanjiv Yadav said.

Three pistols, nine live cartridges and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from their possession, he said.

According to police, the trio were involved in the double murder of Kailash alias Bittoo and his father Subhash in the premises of Lady Hardinge Medical College on April 24 and the killing of Samunder Pahalwan in Burari area on April 28.
