3 die in lightning strike in Odisha

Three persons, including a woman, died after being struck by lightning in Mayurbhanj district today.

Manu Birudi (40), Lada Birudi (30) and Pellen Samada (23) of Jata village under Tiringi police station were hit by lighning while working in an agricultural field, Rairangpur SDPO Mohanpani Karuan said.

They were declared dead at hospital.
