3 juveniles escape observatory home in Jammu, arrested

Three juveniles escaped from an observatory home in the border belt of R S Pura town here but were later arrested in swift action by Police.

"An information was received by Police in R S Pura from Incharge Juvenile observatory home that three juveniles namely Mohmmad Ishfaq, Danish Mahammad and Sandeep Kumar, all aged between 14 to 17 years, have managed to flee from R S Pura juvenile home after breaking the door and window on Tuesday night," a Police officer said.

A case was registered in this connection and investigation taken up, he said, adding that different police teams were constituted under supervision of SDPO R S Pura Harjeet Singh to nab the juveniles.
 

The police team first apprehended juvenile Danish Mohammad near Daljit Chowk in R S Pura and subsequently, two other juveniles were also arrested from Kotli Shah dulla and Kotli Arjunsingh respectively yesterday, he said.

This is a commendable performance on part of the police of R S pura for nabbing all the three juveniles who had managed to flee from the juvenile home within a period of 8 hours, he added.
