3 killed over old enmity in UP

Three persons were shot dead by a man and his three sons over old enmity between them in Afzalgarh area here, police said.

Gurmeet (32), Tejpal (36) and Baldev (25) were shot last night by Pritam and his three sons Lakhwant, Harvinder and Sundar, Rural ASP Dharamveer said.

The accused persons fled after the incident, he said.

While police said old enmity was the reason behind the killing, locals say the fight is the result of a tussle between them over sand mining.
