3 of family awarded life imprisonment for murdering women

A man, his wife and daughter were sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here today in connection with a dowry death case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Shakil-ur-Rehman sentenced Ganesh, his wife Sudni Devi and daughter for killing his daughter-in-law on June 22, 2012 for dowry in Mubarakpur area of the district, prosecution said.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 32,000 each on all of them.
