3 women thieves arrested

Three women thieves who used to steal jewellery by diverting attention of the showroom staff were arrested here today, police said.

Eight stolen gold bangles worth Rs three lakh were also recovered from them, DCP North Ashok Kumar Gupta said.

Mogya (42), Laad Bai (45) and Barmi Devi (60) have also been arrested in the past in Jaipur and Jodhpur in the cases of theft, he said.

They had recently stolen jewellery from a showroom in Johri Bazar on July 14.
