4 children injured in blast

Four children were injured in a bomb explosion at Prasad Nagar under Bijpur police station in North 24 Parganas district today, police said.

While playing, one of the victim children found a can, which was actually a bomb, and it exploded when he opened it.

He and his three friends were injured and admitted at Kalyani JNM Hospital, police said.

Later during a search, the police found two more such bombs from the area.
