Four persons were today killed and one was injured when lightning struck them in Chhattisgarh's Korba district, police said.
The incident took place this afternoon when five men were working at a farm in Sakdula village under Karthala police station limits, 40 km away from the district headquarters here, Karthala inspector Sonal Gwala said.
Keshal Singh Rathia (50), Amar Singh (45), Shiv Prasad (51), Ashok Singh (30) were killed on the spot, Gwala said.
The injured has been admitted to a government-run hospital, the officer added.
