4 of family killed in road mishap in Haryana

Four members of a family were today killed while two others seriously injured when their car was hit by a truck near Gharaunda here on National Highway 1, police said.

The incident occured when the family which belonged to Mayur Vihar in Jalandhar was on its way to Faridabad in the car, they said.

Kiran Sehgal, Kunal, Anshul and Sanjay Sehgal were killed in the mishap while Sanjeev and Pallavi injured, they said, adding the injured were rushed to a hospital in serious condition.

A case has been registered in this connection, they said.
