49 child labourers rescued from bangle factories

Forty nine child labourers from Bihar who were forced to work in bangle factories here, were today rescued, police said.
Acting on a tip off, police rescued 49 children from 7 bangle making units situated in New Jalupura and Bhatta Basti here, DCP, North, Ashok Kumar Gupta said.
The children hailing from Bihar were forced to work from 7 in the morning to late in the night in closed rooms, he said.
The owners of all the seven factories were arrested and the children were handed over to the child welfare committee, Gupta said.
